What's your cancellation policy?
At The Curl Alchemist, your appointment is reserved especially for you. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary, and we’re happy to help — all we ask is that you please give us at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the loss of your 25% deposit.
No-shows (failure to attend your appointment without notice) will be charged the full cost of the service booked.
This policy allows us to offer the best availability to all clients and ensures fairness for both your stylist and fellow curl friends waiting for an opening.

How do I get curl education from you?
That I work on a time and Tailored menu what this means is that you need to add education on if you'd like education or treatments etc. In your standard cut appointment this includes a thorough consultation, cut, wash dry off.
What curl education do you offer?
I offer three different educational options to suit your needs. The first is a 30-minute theory session, where we cover all things curl routines—breaking down how to get the best results with your products and creating a simple plan tailored to you. The second is a complex theory session, which includes everything from the basic option but goes deeper into addressing more complex issues, such as routine struggles, product concerns, scalp or hair health challenges, and how to overcome them. The third is a practical session, where we spend time together washing and styling your hair, teaching you hands-on techniques so you can confidently recreate the results at home. I also offer a group theory session at a discounted rate, perfect if you’d like to learn alongside friends or family while sharing the experience together.
Do children's haircuts get a wash or dry?
Childrens hair does not include a wash or dry it is a dry cut if you require this please ensure they are above 10 years old (so they can fit within the basin) and are booked as a adult.
