Returns & Refunds


At The Curl Alchemist, we take pride in offering high-quality hair care products to support your curl journey. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help!


Eligibility for Returns

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receiving your order.

Products must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging for hygiene and safety reasons.

Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required.


Non-Returnable Items

Opened, used, or damaged products (unless faulty).

Digital products or gift cards.

Sale or clearance items (unless defective).


Defective or Incorrect Items


If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us at flourish@thecurlalchemist.co.nz within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number and clear photos of the issue so we can assist you with a replacement or refund.


How to Return an Item

1. Email us at flourish@thecurlalchemist.co.nz with your order details and reason for return.

2. Once approved, you will receive return instructions.

3. Ship the item back using a trackable shipping service. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty.


Refunds

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If your return is rejected (e.g., used or damaged items), we will notify you via email.


Exchanges


We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different product, please return your item and place a new order.


Late or Missing Refunds


If you haven’t received a refund after 7 business days, please check with your bank or payment provider. If you still need help, contact us at flourish@thecurlalchemist.co.nz.
